Bunny and Carrot Marshmallow Pops
Ingredients:
- 12 marshmallows
- 12 lollipop sticks
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup orange candy melts
- 1/4 cup green candy melts
- 12 mini marshmallows
- 24 small candy eyes
- Black gel food coloring
- Pink gel food coloring
- 12 small pink heart-shaped sprinkles
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut optional
- Cooking oil spray for melting chocolate
- Wax paper or parchment paper
Instructions:
Thread one marshmallow onto each lollipop stick and set aside
In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the white chocolate chips and candy melts according to the package instructions
Add a small amount of cooking oil spray to each to achieve a smooth consistency
Dip each marshmallow pop into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated
Allow excess chocolate to drip off
Place the coated marshmallows on wax paper and let them harden for a few minutes
Once the white chocolate has set, use a toothpick or small brush to paint orange candy melts onto the top third of each marshmallow to create the carrot shape
Leave a small area at the bottom for the bunny's face
While the orange candy coating is still wet, sprinkle shredded coconut on top if desired to mimic carrot tops
For each bunny face, take a mini marshmallow and cut it in half horizontally
Attach two small candy eyes using a dab of melted white chocolate as glue
Use pink gel food coloring to paint a small heart-shaped nose onto each bunny face
Use black gel food coloring to draw a smiling mouth beneath the nose
Attach each bunny face to the bottom of the marshmallow, just above the carrot shape, using a dab of melted white chocolate
Insert a pink heart-shaped sprinkle just above the bunny's mouth as the tongue
Melt the green candy melts and use a toothpick or small brush to paint green leaves on the carrot tops or around the base of the bunny faces
Allow the pops to fully harden and set before serving or packaging
