  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free chocolate chips optional, for extra richness
  • Additional cinnamon and chili powder for dusting optional

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C

Use coconut oil to grease and cocoa powder to dust a round cake pan

Mix cocoa powder, erythritol, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and chili powder together in a bowl

Crack the eggs into a different bowl and mix them with the almond milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract

Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ones while stirring them together

If you want to, fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips

Spread the batter out evenly in the cake pan that has been prepared

In a hot oven, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan

Then, move it to a wire rack to cool all the way through

If you want, you can sprinkle more cinnamon and chili powder on top of the cake after it has cooled

Cut it up and serve!
